Future Features & Suggestions
We’re looking at what we can improve and add to OCE DOGS over time, and we’d like to get some input from the community.
If there are any features, changes, events, or services you’d like to see in the future, let us know.
This can be related to the website, Discord, game servers, community events, player features, or anything else you think would be useful.
There’s no specific format required, just post your idea below and, if possible, let us know why you think it would be useful or enjoyable for the community.
We’ll take the suggestions on board when planning future updates and improvements.
Cheers dawgs!
It's early days but I wonder about a community vote?
We have a few neat maps and I believe access to some interesting rules for the community server.
I wonder about a set time where a community voted mode / map / something might occur?
ie: 4pm - 8pm Sundays are Community rules hours
Of course this would really only work once the community starts to really hum
Its possible, however console doesn't expose in-game chat (yet). What we could do is create a community map vote, where players vote !mapname and we're able to count those votes after a set amount of time before the match ends. Once the match ends, the map with the most votes is set to next map. With only 3 maps, not much of a choice but I'm sure in the future this will change.
Currently the only mode is KOTH, so running any other kind of mode would be a little difficult.. especially something like 50v50 as some players can just change to the 3rd team and unbalance it all. Would be an Admins headache at this stage.
The developers are working on things however is what I'm seeing in their discord!
