Privacy Policy

• Account data — email, callsign, and a securely hashed password.
• Linked accounts — if you connect Steam or Discord, we store your public identifiers (Steam ID, Discord ID/username), avatar URLs, and persona names.
• Community content — forum posts, comments, clips, screenshots, LFG listings, clans, and cosmetics you create or equip.
• Steam progression — when you link Steam, we read your public playtime and owned-games data to display your stats on the Site (see Section 3).

We use your information to operate the community: authenticate you, display profiles and leaderboards, run LFG and Discord features, deliver notifications, and moderate the platform. We do not sell your personal data.

Connecting Steam is optional and is the only way we can display your WARDOGS progression. We use the official Steam Web API to read your public profile, owned games, and recent playtime. We never write to, modify, or affect your Steam account, your in-game data, stats, inventory, or progress in any way. Discord data is used only for sign-in, role sync, and LFG voice features. You can disconnect either provider at any time from your Profile.

We store a session token in your browser's local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Optional Founder purchases are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data under its own privacy terms.

You can edit your profile, unlink Steam/Discord, and request deletion of your account and associated content by contacting us via the About / Contact page.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the community. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated policy.
